Dawne’ Rettig, Certified Business Manager
Dawne’ is a seasoned administrative office manager. Dawne’ moved to Kansas City in 1994, after working as a certified dental assistant and pursuing a dental hygiene degree in Colorado. She married her college sweetheart and settled in KC. They now have two sons, keeping them busy with their active lifestyles. After working eight years as administrative front office personnel employed by a prominent Johnson County Prosthodontist, Dawne’ accepted the position of Front Office Manager for Dr. Robert P. Sherman in 2004. In 2007, Dawne’ completed a Business Management course through Jameson Management and the New York University College of Dentistry. She is adept in all areas of dental insurance benefits and dental office software. Dawne’ is your reference guide for questions regarding treatment and benefits related to your personal needs.
Amy Rostberg, Registered Dental Hygienist
Amy joined Dr. Robert P. Sherman’s team in 2007. She comes to us from Bloomington, Minnesota, where she graduated with her degree in dental hygiene from Normandale Community College in 1998. Amy practiced dental hygiene in Minnesota for several years before following her husband, Dr. Tony Rostberg, to the Cleveland Chiropractic College here in Kansas City. Amy and Tony have two great children, a little boy and a little girl. Amy is passionate about her continuing educations and patient care. She is committed to helping all of her patients with their oral hygiene and periodontal needs.
Shawna Johnson
Shawna has been in dentistry for over 14 years, the past 3 years with Dr. Robert P. Sherman. Shawna is an avid reader and quick learner. She is eager to learn new technology that will help our patients with their dental care and questions. Shawna is a Butler local and is married with two daughters and one granddaughter.

Harley
Harley is our office mascot and favorite employee with most of our patients. Harley came to our office in July 2012. He is from a local breeder in Louisburg, Kansas. Dr. Robert P. Sherman fell in love with Harley at first glance, and he has been an important part of our team ever since. Please don’t ever hesitate to ask if you can visit him while at our office.
